New Orleans: Crawfest 2014 Lineup Release

If you’ve been in New Orleans during the spring, you know how it seems like there is a festival, or two, just about every weekend. With the weather in prime form and good vibes spreading through the city, it’s just the right time to spend the entire day outside with good food, good friends, and good music.

While it may not the be holy grail (read: Jazz Fest), Tulane University’s Crawfest is definitely something to talk about. Named by Huffington Post one of the “Top 10 Best College Music Events in the Country,” the festival not only boasts an awesome lineup this, and every, year, but gets its name from the 20,000 pounds of mudbugs served right there on the university’s quad. Tulane students and locals alike enjoy a day full of craw daddies, sweet tunes, and awesome local food vendors like Dat Dog and Plum St. Snoballs.

This year, the festival will be held on April 5 and run from 11AM to 7PM. Check out the video below to see who will be hitting the stage! And if you ask us, it looks pretty good.
