NOLA: Welcome H&M to the Big Easy

Dear New Orleans,

Our prayers have been answered! No, I don’t know for certain that the Saints will win the Super Bowl. And no, I can’t predict the weather for Mardi Gras. But let me tell you this – your shopping woes have come to an end as the one and only H&M is set to open in the French Quarter later this week.

In true New Orleans fashion, the exclusive, invite only opening party on Friday, November 15th will be masquerade-themed and include a performance by The Dolls and The Pinettes Brass Band. The opening day, Saturday, November 16th, will also feature giveaways to the first 500 shoppers, including a free t-shirt and an Access to Fashion Pass valued at $10-$500! Now that’s something we’ll wait in line for.

Not only does the store open in style, but H&M New Orleans will be one of the first stores in the United States to feature H&M Home. College students, rejoice! Your dorm rooms and apartments can now meet the level of your Pinterest boards. Not to mention that this new location will be the last store to launch the H&M x Isabel Marant collection. Cue the swooning.

So, what are you waiting for? You might want to start lining up now at the corner of Decatur and St. Louis to be able to take in every inch of the 32,000 square foot store and all of its glory.

Were you invite to the party? If so, see you there! Be sure to hashtag the event with and check out H&M on , and !
