DIY: Jewelry Hanger Frame

Living in a small city apartment calls for maximizing storage while still maintaining your sense of style. A perfect solution for jewelry organization is this DIY hanger frame. This homemade fixture is a great way to show off your best pieces – while still keeping them organized!

Here are simple instructions for creating your own jewelry hanger frame!

What you will need:

  • 1 16×20 frame (check the clearance sections of your local craft stores – I got mine for 6 dollars!)
  • 6 screw-in 7/8” gold hooks (can be found at any hardware store)
  • 1 16×20 foam board
  • 2 yards of burlap fabric or other fabric of your choice
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • Your jewelry, of course!

Hanger What You Need

What to do:

Step 1: Remove back and glass of frame.

Step 2: Unroll burlap fabric and fold in half, creating a double layer of material. Cut to fit foam board, making sure that you have enough fabric to wrap around the edges of the foam board.

Step 3: Wrap double burlap fabric layers around foam board completely and staple to the back securely.

Step 4: Measure and mark for hook placement. Carefully screw hooks through burlap fabric and foam board.
