Calling all lazy listeners! Though I love making playlists, and do it almost weekly for SLM, sometimes I get tired of being my own DJ. Sometimes I just want somebody else to tell me what I want to listen to, and then play it for me.
And just when I was on the verge of my music ADD getting the best of me, a friend introduced me to Lazify. AKA The best thing. Ever.
Seriously, you guys, I’m obsessed. Lazify is a Spotify app which essentially acts as a personal DJ. In two simple steps, Lazify creates a playlist of 10, 25, or 50 songs to match whichever song you give it to start with. Step 1, click on the app. Step 2, drag the song of your choice over the title of the app. Step 3, jam.
Drag “Blurred Lines”? You have an instant playlist of current R&B tunes. Drag Passion Pit? Automatic hipster hits for a party with your crew.
It’s ingenious, and it’s free. Perfect for a lazy day when you just can’t settle on what you want. Step back, and let somebody else decide for you.
