It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from Ed Sheeran. He started small as a singer from the UK and became a household name while touring with Taylor Swift. The red-haired British hottie recently released a brand-new single titled, “Sing.” This single is the newest song off his upcoming album, X is due to be released June 23, 2014. Sheeran is also set to start a US tour on August 21 in Seattle and continuing through to Toronto, Canada. This song is something we’ve never heard from Sheeran before and shatters our impression of him as a quiet singer-songwriter. The single gets a big boost from Pharrell (It’s been a big year for Pharrell with his success with Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines,” the infectious “Happy” off his new album and nailing a spot as a new coach on the Voice.) “Sing” has a catchy hook and a power rap from Pharrell. After hearing it, you’ll have it on repeat.
