Red, White, and Beautifully Organized

Happy Fourth of July SLM readers!

This All American holiday is our absolute favorite. We can’t think of anything better than celebrating our independence over grilled goodies, backyard games, and a firework-lit sky. In honor of our sweet land of liberty, the NEAT Girls have put together a few tips to help your wardrobe stay tidy…red, white, and blue style.

RWB Clothes

Tip 1: Group Like With Like. Nothing streamlines your closet more than grouping your clothing by type. Skirts with skirts. Dresses with dresses. Pretty simple. For shirts, make sure you group by sleeve length: tanks first, then short sleeve, and finally, long sleeve.

Tip 2: Opt for a Color Theme. Although we are adamant about color-coding in a ROY G BIV fashion, sometimes it’s okay to sectionalize your closet into color themes. Love getting decked out for the Fourth as much as we do? Consider a patriotic red, white, and blue color theme in one section. If summer has you hyped over Lilly Pulitzer, consider brights and neons in another section.

Tip 3: Showcase Your Jewels. Instead of utilizing bulky jewelry boxes, put those gems on display. If you can’t see what you have, the likelihood of actually wearing it is diminished. Neck forms are the perfect solution for large statement necklaces. We also love clear acrylic trays. Not only do they help separate your jewels in a way that makes them easier to view but they’re also stackable which saves space!

We hope these simple tips have you seeing stars and stripes! Cheers America!
