While popping into Starbucks earlier this week, one especially chic black-and-white striped tumbler caught my eye. In case you haven’t heard, Starbucks is currently collaborating with Stacey Bendet, founder and designer of Alice + Olivia, to bring you a limited edition gift set for the holiday season.
Though Starbucks is no stranger to partnering with high-end designers (Christian Siriano and Rodarte, just to name a few), this year’s collection may be the best yet. Anyone familiar with Bendet’s sophisticated and whimsical designs won’t be disappointed as the gift set is as girly as it gets.
The holiday collection consists of two must-have collectibles: the Starbucks Designer Girl Bearista Bear and the Double Wall Ceramic Mug. There’s no question that both are undeniably cute and would serve as the perfect gift for the coffee enthusiast or fashionista in your life.

I know that I’m far too old to be getting this giddy about a teddy bear dressed up in a festive party frock and pearls (not to mention her adorable flower-adorned hat and red shoes!), but the little girl inside of me is telling me otherwise. And, to my defense, it is designed by Stacey Bendet herself – so that must make it perfectly acceptable.
And, don’t even get me started about the mug… that snazzy bow tie and row of gold buttons have got me swooning. Bendet puts it best, “it’s your holiday mug – all dressed up!” I, for one, love the extra flair of personality that the removable black tutu adds. For those of us who are “grownups,” rest assured that there is no shame in purchasing either of these products. In fact, it would be uncool not to.
As of November 12, the “Bearista Bear” and ceramic tumbler can be yours. Hurry though, because they already seem to be backordered online. Fingers crossed they come back in stock, and quickly!
