I was able to indulge in Perricone MD’s Chloro Plasma. What is that, you ask? It is an anti aging treatment mask with revitalizing microcapsules. It’s two ounces of nature put into a jar: Chlorophyll, which helps to deeply sooth and detoxify and a blue-green algae called Spirulina, which provides protective and nourishing benefits along with nutrients. It also includes Sulforophane, which helps to fight free radical damage and Green Tea, which is well known for being a powerful antioxidant that is soothing for the skin.This formulation helps to revitalize the skin through the science of phytonutrient microcapsules–basically tiny beads in the formula–to help deeply detoxify and cleanse the skin. You apply the mask by evenly massaging the product in a circular motion all over your face until it turns green. You allow it to sit for 5-10 minutes before rinsing your face with warm water.
The mask is targeted towards addressing loss of radiance, enlarged pores, fine lines, tough texture and dull/fatigued skin. I have enlarged pores and some spots of roughness due to acne creams I sometimes use. After one use of this product I saw immediate results. But after three to four uses, though, I started to see a huge difference in the texture of my skin. Radiance was given back to the rough skin areas, my pores are a little less visible and my favorite part was that my skin felt soft and smooth. It was pretty amazing watching the gel-to-clay mask change color as the chlorophyll was being released.
