Okay, okay, we have to admit that one of our guilty pleasures over here at Sweet Lemon is sci-fi. More specifically, Face Off. If you haven’t checked out this awesome Sy-Fy channel reality show, make sure to add it to the cue. There’s just something about watching a totally different spooky, funny or just straight up weird look come out of a little paint, plastic and molds that seems like, well, magic.
Until now, the artists featured on the show seemed like gods and goddesses, playing with the canvas of their model and creating something so unique, we could only dream of coming close to it. Lucky for you makeup lovers, Make Up For Ever is taking this dream and making it a reality with their TV & Cinema Academy at la Cité du Cinéma, near Paris, France.
Beginning in the fall of 2014, Make Up For Ever will begin offering trainings for pro makeup artists to learn the tricks of the trade in everything from wigmaking to prosthetics. Specially designed for makeup artists with a strong desire to enter the movie industry, the programs allow pros to hone their preexisting skills and learn more about the entertainment makeup industry.
