Sometimes simply washing your face doesn’t do enough. For those days, here are 3 easy at-home face masks and scrubs that are so simple, you’re even likely to have the ingredients in your pantry.
Honey Cinnamon Face Mask
Mix honey and cinnamon for a sticky, but surprisingly rejuvenating quick face mask. The honey and cinnamon act to prevent acne, and heal old acne scars, but your face will also feel tighter immediately after using these ingredients. Leave the mask on for about 15 minutes (you can do more, or less) and then rinse it off by using water and scrubbing in circular motions, allowing the cinnamon to act to exfoliate.
Avocado Mask
Mix avocado, yogurt, and lemon juice for a refreshing and hydrating face mask. Leave the mixture on your face for 10-15 minutes before rinsing it off, and reveal hydrated and supple skin underneath.
Simple Sugar Face Scrub
I use a battery operated face scrubber regularly, but recently discovered a much cheaper alternative with nearly identical results: scrubbing your face with sugar. Wet your face, and put a small amount of sugar in your hands (one tablespoon or less). Simply scrub the sugar all over your face until most of it has dissolved, and and then rinse the remaining sugar off. Don’t forget to scrub your lips as well, exfoliating them and helping to avoid chapped lips. Your face will feel refreshed and clean, only using one ingredient everyone has in their pantry.
