The fabulous Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were handed a 1 year, 8 month prison sentence due to tax evasion on Wednesday. Apparently, the duo hid millions from the Italian authorities, and now they’re paying for it. (Even though they’re apparently innocent – their words, not ours.)
In addition to their time behind bars, D&G will be paying for their wrongdoings in cold hard cash, $13.4 million to be exact, which is what they hid from the government. And that doesn’t even include the crazy lawyer fees they’re about to ensue going through this case, plus the appeal.
Who knows what will happen next, but right now you’ve got to decide if you’re on the side or not.
