Bauble necklaces, cupcakes, & philanthropy: DC goes GLAM

First off, we met so many amazing Sweet Lemon readers at the GLAM fashion event in downtown DC last night. Thanks to each and everyone of you we talked to and thanks for coming out! GLAM was such a success because of you!

How much of a success you ask? With amazing local businesses like Fornash, GossipRunway Wheels, and more- you couldn’t go wrong. It was a night for all Washingtonians, as bloggers from the area modeled the latest in mixing prints and fabulous cuts.

The annual event benefited Safe Shores DC. Safe Shores is a DC children’s advocacy center and independent nonprofit organization that aims to provide a child-friendly approach to the investigation and prosecution of civil and criminal child abuse cases in the District of Columbia.

Be sure to check out this amazing company that supports Washington, D.C.’s children in need. And many thanks to the hostesses- District Sparkle and Garden of Glam, for hosting such a beautiful, fun event for a great cause.

Those living in the DC metro area, be sure to keep an eye out for more GLAM events on their and . The ladies of GLAM work year round to bring awareness and raise money for children in need in our nation’s capital.
