This past weekend I attended Atlanta’s Beauty Escape Makeup Bar Event at the beautiful Loews Hotel right in the heart of midtown.
This Ultimate Girls’ Day Out is an annual event that happens here in Atlanta that is hosted by Beauty Escape Makeup Bar, a national pop-up salon that provides guests with professional makeup artists, cocktails, shopping and mini-massages, all together making it the ultimate girls’ day out! Of course I took one of my good friends with me to enjoy a day of pampering and fun. We spent the day checking out the many different vendors that had set up shop in the venue. I really enjoyed meeting the owners and creators of “Buff Her,” a company dedicated to making exfoliating food facial scrubs. I am a sucker for anything organic and all natural so learning more about skin care made out of food was very interesting for me! Buff Her makes facial scrubs in almost any flavor, my favorites were the sweet potato, vanilla bean and coffee. You can even customize your own scrub on their website! There were many other pop up shops including vendors that sold makeup, jewelry and accessories, and we had the pleasure of perusing the products.
Of course the pampering was delightful. I received an amazing shoulder and neck massage while relaxing in a comfy massage chair by Denise from High Energy Therapeutic Massage. Shortly after I got to lay back and enjoy a foot rub! Not just any foot rub, but according to everyone there, the best reflexologist in town, Marvin Baldwin with Touch Of Humility. Reflexology involves applying pressure to specific points in the areas of your hands, ears, or feet and it’s known to relieve anxiety, headaches, PMS and many other conditions. It was definitely a very stress reliving and relaxing experience, if you live in Altanta I suggest you book yourself an appointment! The Ultimate Girls’ day out was a blast and I truly enjoyed catching up over cocktails with my friend and taking in the amazing view from the Lowes hotel, we had a great girls day out!
