Simply put, I love snacks. In fact, I adore most anything related to snacking. The potential for circuitous sweet/salty alteration, pure deliciousness, and the accessibility of on-the-go field rations….you get the picture. So when I recently stumbled upon and learned how it works (there’s a thoughtfully laid out system behind the California based organization), I felt compelled to share.

Broadly speaking, NatureBox has adopted a platform of making it easy for you to eat, snack, and live healthier. Subscribing for the snacking game means that you will receive/discover/enjoy nutritionist-approved snack packages each month (the frequency of your reception to be determined by which order you so choose). Think of it as a consistent care package to yourself. There are three order options ranging from the Smart Snacker, to the Happy Snacker, to the NatureBox Deluxe package–see the details and learn what you can get here. I encourage you to browse the snacking potential, as boxes are designed with themes ranging from a picnic season, spices, comfort foods, and there is even a Healthy Holiday Habits Box (Are the holiday’s already around the corner?)

So far, I have happily crunched away at the Teriyaki Twists (Teriyaki flavored rice crackers) YUM, the Cocoa Waffle Wafers (hunger quenching), and my favorite, Sweet Blueberry Almonds. If you have happened to come across my almond butter post (it is so easy to make!), you’ll know that I am a unwavering fan of Almonds in general. Upon sampling this delicately sweet and genius combination (roasted almonds dusted with natural blue berry flavors), I was sold. I can’t wait to toss the things into my food processor. It’ll be like almond butter and jelly in one. For the win.

Pure deliciousness aside, I am into the way NatureBox’s mission is to step up the snacking game. And clearly stated in their mission: “NatureBox helps you eat healthier without needing to change your eating habits. We focus on snacks because that’s the easiest habit to change.” And their mission would be as simple and effective as that, but NatureBox has invested itself in ameliorating the problems of hunger and poverty by facilitating a partnership with the organization WhyHunger. Aside from monetary contributions, snacks are donated to WhyHunger partners–this includes community based organizations, emergency food providers and summer meal programs, that reach low-income groups. with the goal of making more nutritious food available on a large scale. As NatureBox sticks to it’s mission, staying clear of all the unnatural, artificial, and high fructose-y corn syrups of the world, it is here for you to try! shipping is always free (WIN) and as you can pause or cancel anytime, there is no risk involved. AND if you tell your friends about NatureBox they’ll receive 25% off their first box. Hint: the code is REFER25 (there’s nothing like sharing a bargain…my mom would be proud).
