Hi-Clips, High Five!

I always like trying new hair and makeup products, especially when it comes to adding major volume! Bigger lashes, bigger hair, fuller lips – I’m all about it! I recently got to try our some great new volumizing hair clips, Hi-Clips, that add extreme volume by simply clipping them in your hair and either letting them air dry, or dry with a blow dryer.

First, I let my hair air dry a little bit so it wasn’t sopping wet after I showered. I blew out the extra moisture and adding the clips when it was about 60% dry. I decided that I wanted more volume on the top.  I took a back section, opened the clip, and stuck it close to the roots. I then took the front section and repeated. Then I continued to blow out my hair. I took out the clips when my hair was almost completely dry and smoothed out the top section, since the hairs left out of the clip could not be directly dried.  I also noticed that a slight crease was directly in front where the clip was placed.  When it was finished, I was left with visibly lifted roots.
The overall effect of the clips definitely made my hair more voluminous on top.  However, it was hard to keep the hair from falling out of the clip, since my hair is so long. I would recommend this product to people with layered or shorter hair. My hair is all one length, so the clips were holding up a lot more hair than if they were layered.

The Bottom Line: If you want voluminous hair without watching endless Youtube videos on how to do so with a brush, this is a good product,  especially if you have layered or shorter hair.
