Meet Aubrey Plaza. You may recognize her from her new movie, “The To Do List.” In her new movie, she brings us back to the ‘90s in this outrageously funny comedy with skorts, fluffy scrunchies, and our childhood hit-songs that make you reminisce about being a kid in the ‘90s. Plaza’s wardrobe plus the ambiance that movie director Maggie Carey creates only make you feel like you wish it was the ‘90s again. To commemorate the time when you were listening to your cassette player instead of your iPod (and had some sweet crimped hair), strap on your seat belt. Let’s take our time machine back to the ‘90s.
#1-Clueless
Before there was “Mean Girls”, there was “Clueless.” When you were little and saw Clueless, every little girl dreamed of being Cher in high school and have friends like Dionne where you could rule the school in your brand-new plaid skirt. Now’s the time to mention that “Clueless” came out 18 years ago. Um, WHAT?!
#2-Popcorn Shirts
Does everyone remember shirts like these? I’m pretty sure that everyone owned at least one of these in Elementary school! This fashion trend seriously needed to be put to rest. I don’t know about you, but I’m glad that these shirts aren’t in style anymore. It’s still nice to reminisce on some ’90s fashion trends, though.
