Even if you’re not a Daily Show fan — and if you fall in that category, re-examine your life choices — this interview with Malala Yousafzai is nothing short of amazing. Yousafzai, who was shot in the head by the Taliban after refusing to stop advocating for women’s education in northwestern Pakistan, is now a candidate for this year’s Nobel Peace Prize and the author of a new book, “I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban.”
“You must not treat others with that much cruelty,” she told Stewart. “You must fight others but through peace, and through dialogue, and through education.” The Comedy Central host’s awe at her wise, deep words was obvious. “I know you’re father is backstage, and he’s very proud of you, but would he be mad if I adopted you?”

Beautiful. People like Malala make me so proud to be a woman and to never stop helping woman who don’t have access to education.
She is going to be a force to be reckoned with for the rest of her life.
