Stationery is one of life’s little pleasure of which I cannot get enough! No matter the store I’m in, I always check to see if there’s a stationery section- if so, you’ll find me there. I especially love the variety you can find at stores like T.J. Maxx and Tuesday Morning, but I also love the quality and uniqueness of brands such as Kate Spade and Sugar Paper. Regardless, I’m a paper fiend and have quite the collection. When I think of stationery, however, I don’t just stop at the paper- I think of all the details that make receiving snail mail truly special. Follow my few simple steps and build your own unique collection.
1. Start with the paper. Make sure you have a selection of the following: personalized note cards, thank you notes, and “just because.” Make these pieces reflect your personality, do your research and shop around until you find products that suit you.
2. Mix and match. I’m a fan of mixing my cards with coordinating colored envelops as opposed to those that actually match the card. It adds a little flair!
3. Invest in pens. I know you’re thinking “what’s the big deal?” But trust me, it does make a difference. Le Pen is my favorite and they come in a rainbow of colors.
4. Snatch up stickers and stamps. I discovered the beauty of adding stickers and labels to my snail mail a couple years ago, and now I don’t send a piece of mail without them! I also love to stock up on unique and seasonal stamps.
5. Invest in a custom return address stamp or labels. It makes your letter or package look polished and pretty.

What a fun post! Stationery is one of my weaknesses. You can never have too much! Loved seeing what you’re stocking up on. xx

I don’t know if it exists in America because I’ve been living in Australia for a few years now, but check out kikki k: http://www.kikki-k.com/ It is gorgeous stuff. A store devoted to organization and stationary is pretty much my heaven!
